Like tiny music from the vatican gift store…
And just like that, we avoided a full on BAN and Prohibition in Texas, great news! We are fully idle in the gardens for the summer, pending some legislation changes. So all ears are tuned to later this month, in search of some clear regulations so we can develop products and resume operations.
Texas Hemp Strong!
Man, you know I am full of heat over this political crap too the point where I had to calm down a few minutes just to spew some venom that can be published. We were involved with providing Gov. Abbott feedback and possible solutions leading up his veto decision. So what does this mean for Texas Hemp growers now, well we don’t really know just yet. But it does appear Texas will continue to follow the USDA guidelines sit forth for Hemp farming and will now adopt some better defined regulations and product restrictions for consumer products. This is monumental for Hemp Producers in the state as a bonus will be the products must be Texas grown exclusive, thus we find ourselves on the starting line for a market that will explode over the next 5 years.
Now we are one step away from being legitimate, whereas our business can obtain loans, purchase crop insurance and bank in normal business channels. Seems Trump/RFK Jr are fighting with the DEA now on descheduling and there is discussion of declassification altogether to allow state goverance. Lastly, the FarmBill rewrite has an amendmant for review that would ban hemp derived cannabinoids… great, here we go again.
Alright, I won’t cut up too bad, but I do have some solid questions for Lt Gov Dan Patrick and several local LEO I have seen on the local news lately.
How many THC deaths does Texas have for ages 3-30 in 2025? How many Alcohol related deaths does Texas have for ages 3-30 in 2025 and how many Fentanyl related deaths for the same time period? Why are you going after THC again, sir?
And local police, it is not the consumer or growers fault that you do not have field equipment that can properly test hemp. So your solution is to BAN? I do not recall the police testing bottles of Jack Daniels, Budweiser, Wine or any drink in your possession… they test the person for signs of intoxication. Ohhhhh, but they lose that keyhole for search abilities just the same, let me explain that for the do-gooders. If the police tell you, they “smell marijuana”, in an illegal state such as Texas, they suddenly have “suspicion” that can lead to legal search of you and your vehicle(s). Imagine the harrassment that can come from that move and how many petty, non-violent offenses that ultimately caused hardship to a small family leaving life changing scars. I have to stop now, how about some bud porn to better the vibe :)
Sooooo….
Guess what, GreenVibe Gardens is idle, but still around folks. Best case scenario, we have some regulations in place and kick off an epic Fall/Winter grow! Stick around and see whats up, between now and then.,…. peace out.
